This review is for the 52XBR9 and not the BR7 as viewed Although I initially purchased the 7 model I received an email informing me that the 7 was dis continued and that the 9 was for a higher price confirmed to be true and it more features and a better engergy saver etc So of course I upgraded
This TV is amazing in every way I have my XBOX360 Panasonic Blue Ray the Patriot Box my surround sound and my HD TV Cable service plugged into it ok I have a total of five controllers Regardless to which one I use the SONY LCD 240hz 1080p TV gives me optimal performance every time The only thing that is identified as a not needed or better yet needs improvement is the Internet via LAN line feature I need to be able surf the net However I have the option of plugging my laptop into the TV but that would make me feel too lazy being that when I sit down utilize all other entertainment gadgets i literally don t have to move

I went from 52 projection to 52 LCD and the only thing I regret is that I did not do it sooner The TV is easy to navigate and has super picture 240mgh and 1080p is the way to go Some things to think about when purchasing is amount of HDMI connections you need this set has 4/with one on the side So far I do not regret it

I purchased this tv on the 5th and still has not shipped yet They have it in stock so there is no reason for this They sent me an e mail a day after I purchased it giving me the option of upgrading to a xbr9 for the same price it sounds fishy to me I can t rate what I don t have
